By car from Germany (including Austrian toll roads/Vignette)
Take Autobahn A8 (München-Salzburg) entering Austria. Then take the A1 towards Salzburg-Wien. Drive past the West/Flughafen/Klessheim/Salzburg Mitte/Salzburg Nord/Wallersee exits and then take the exit for Thalgau (E274). Follow signs to Fuschl am See/ Fuschlseeregion.
Please note that Vignette (Austrian road tax) can be purchased at most service stations and newsagents in Austria, as well as at motorway service stations in both Austria and Germany. Look for the ‘Hier gibt Vignette’ signs.
By car from within Austria
From Vienna take the Westautobahn A1, exiting at Thalgau. Follow signs to Fuschl am See. From the south (Graz) take the A9 joining the A1 after Traunkreis. From Carinthia take the A10, joining the A1, direction Salzburg.
